Finally, term break when we have time to sit and reflect. Here are the latest statistics and the most comprehensive so far.  The heatmap doesn't show it very clearly but most attacks are from Taiwan which is also shown in "Top 10 Malware vs Top 10 Source Location" graph.

There is a clear correlation between number of attacks and binaries downloaded and most are targetted towards Windows machines. 

Top 10 malware are all variants of Conflicker worm... must do research on why.
