Since 1991, each year the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Singapore will organise GovernmentWare (GovWare). This year, this InfoComm Security conference and exhibition was held from 1 to 3 October 2013 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
We are very proud to be invited to showcase one of our Final Year Project by Tan Zheng Yong, Jordon Chong & Kiki Yuen. The project is title WebAnatomy. It is a forensic web crawler that would allow a forensic investigator to search and archive websites for investigative purposes.
Here you can see Zhen Yong and some of our 2nd year students explaining the project to the Guest of Honour Mr Masagos Zulkifli Bin Masagos Mohamad.

Industry Partnership
We are very proud to have signed a memorandum of
understanding (MOU) with Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) Technology Crime Forensic Branch to collaborate in the areas of Cloud Forensics, Live Forensics, Malware
Forensics and Mobile Forensics.
Center for Digital Security & Investigations Lab
Here in TP we believe in providing our students opportunities to work with real projects and cases. The Centre for Digital Security & Investigations has been set up in collaboration with the Singapore Infocomm
Technology Security Authority (SITSA). It creates a realistic
environment to train students in three key security areas: incident
response, monitoring and audit, as well as digital artifact analysis.

Exclusive Scholarships....
Did you know that there are many scholarships opportunities for students seeking a diploma in IT? In our small diploma, we have IDA scholars, TP Scholars & HomeTeam scholars. You can find out more about the various scholarships here.
Even better, come down to TP OpenHouse and there will be counsellors to provide advise.
Good luck!

TP Rawks 2012
Hi Everyone!
TPRawks has successfully ended on 21st November! From 19th to 21st November, some DFS teachers and students have helped out in the TPRawks event. For DFS, our game was to identify the criminal by comparing the fingerprints. Thanks to those who have helped out in TPRawks! If not for everyone, it would not have run smoothly. Below are some pictures taken during TPRawks.

CCN Day
Hi everyone!
On the 18th of May 2012, we had our Campus Care Network (CCN) Day. CCN Day Carnival is the signature event of the TP Campus Care Network. It is held twice a year and the whole polytechnic would come together in the spirit of sharing and caring. Staff and students collaborate to set up stalls to raise funds for TP’s needy students in every CCN Day Carnival. The enthusiastic participation of both staff and students shows the caring spirit in Temasek Polytechnic.
My class, C301, decided to set up a cafe style eatery in LT2. We were screening a movie while the customers would patronize our stall. Our stall's name was called 'Famous Lena's' because one of our classmates, Lena, made most of the cakes and pies. Aliah also helped in making other cupcakes and brownies.

We are thankful to have this opportunity where we could come together to help charity and also bond as a class. All the time and effort spent to set this up was worth it as all of us had enjoyed ourselves. I'm looking forward to the next CCN day! Are you? (:
